Event Details

This free 2-day training is EPA/MDE approved. If you pay the $125 certification fee to MDE, you will be able to supervise any work done in your properties that is performed by workers trained in lead safety that disturbs lead or lead dust.

 

Training is two consecutive days from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Attendees must complete all 16-hours of training.

The Rec Center is in the Brooklyn section of Baltimore City. From Patapsco Avenue, turn onto 10th Street and proceed to the dead end. Turn left onto 6th St (which changes to Virginia Ave) and left onto Farring Ct. The Rec Center is behind Baybrook Elementary School.

BCHD Lead Safety Training Institute



Under a grant from the EPA, provide free lead safe work practices training to Baltimore City property owners and residents.

1-hr and 2-hr overview training is available, and more formal 8-hr and 2-day EPA approved training is available.

Register here for individuals and small groups. Groups of 10 or more can host their own training sessions.
